Basement Wall Crack Injection Repair

Are Cracks in Foundation Walls Normal?

Cracks in concrete foundation walls and floors are common and can occur for several reasons. While poured concrete is one of the most reliable materials for foundations, it can still crack over time due to factors such as shrinkage, frost heaves, settlement, and other natural forces.

At The Crack Medics, we specialize in efficiently and effectively repairing these cracks. Our process typically involves repairing cracks from the inside, with no digging required and no excavation. In many cases, we can even make repairs when the crack is wet. We stand behind our work with a 25-year, transferable warranty on most wall crack repairs.

How Are Foundation Cracks Repaired?

If the crack is "open" (meaning no previous repairs have been made) and is accessible to our technicians, we begin by chiseling away any loose concrete. We then install injection ports along the crack every 8 to 10 inches. Afterward, we apply an epoxy paste around the ports and along the length of the crack to create a barrier that contains the repair material, allowing it to be injected under low pressure for a complete seal.

We only use low-pressure injection with a two-part epoxy mix for all of our repairs. This method ensures a strong, permanent seal that fully fills the crack from top to bottom and front to back, restoring the integrity of your foundation. Our technicians assess each crack individually and apply the most appropriate repair solution to effectively restore the foundation's strength.

Our repairs are backed by a 25-year, transferable warranty on most structural wall cracks, providing you with peace of mind and lasting protection for your home.
